Pentax announces their new V-series compact camera called as “Pentax Optio V20″. This Optio V20 features with an 8 megapixel CCD sensor, 5X optical zoom, and 3-inch LCD screen. This Optio V20 also features with face recognition, blink detection, video out, and USB connectivity. There is also a SD /SDHC expansion slot instead of 52MB built-in memory.

This Optio V20 8 megapixel point and shoot camera isn’t spectacular, but with 5x optical zoom, it’s a nice camera for the 3-inch LCD screen.

According to Pentax, the Optio V20 will be available at May 2008 and would costs about $280.
