Fixing Registry Error

Saturday, January 10th, 2009 | Review with

Every time while adding or removing programs from computer, usually there were some fragmented data like; File Extension TMP and File Extension DLL; left on computer’s hard drive and registry. Over time, this fragmented data will be accumulated and become the major cause of computer’s problem like; slow running, crashing, and freezing.

Our computer registry acts like a data bank which stored all information needed by operating systems to works properly. For example; registry stores information that File Extension BIN should be open by “Program BIN”, if this program has been removed from computer. Registry will become error since it cannot found “program BIN” to open extension bin files.

We can fixing registry using regedit, but unless we are very knowledgeable about it, we should not attempt to fix it manually. For fixing registry purpose, I would recommend registry cleaner application from computerfileextensions.com. With it, only need a single mouse click to fix registry problems.
