Tokyo - Toshiba Corporation from Japan has been announced the world’s first 1.8″ dual-platter Hard Drive with MK2431GAH. Coms with 240GB capacity, the MK2431GAH. This drive should be easily integrated into portable media players, camcorders and mobile computer.

Beside 240GB capacity, Toshiba also offering 120GB (MK1231GAL) version and 80GB (MK8031GAL) version. 80GB and 120GB now in mass production and 240GB version will enter mass production in end of September.
