The debut of the next video card NVIDIA GeForce family GTX 200 GPU-based GT200b built with technology to 55 nanometers, is becoming closer with every passing day. It should not therefore surprising that are gradually emerging, more precise details on the technical characteristics of these products, intended for top-range segment of the market.
Here are now known clock frequencies of the two new cards GeForce GTX 285 and GeForce GTX 295, respectively based on the architecture 1 and 2 GPU.

The GeForce GTX 285 will see an increase in clock frequency of GPU, stream video processors and memory compared to the model GeForce GTX 280, respectively 7.6%, 13.9% and 12.7%, with an assumed average increase quantifiable benefits in 10% with the video settings that are limited by the computing power of GPU.
These results will be obtained with a level of consumption aligned with that of the GeForce GTX 260 cards, built with technology at 65 nanometers and feature performances much reduced.
Turning to the solution GeForce GTX 295, you’ll find two GPU with 240 stream processors each, combined with 448bit memory bus amplitude. This fact sheet will be equivalent to a pair of GeForce GTX 260 cards in terms of clock frequency and memory bus, with the only difference from the date of GPU with 240 stream processors, then identical to those of the solutions GeForce GTX 285. Record in this case the maximum, which will reach 289 watts maximum.
